वसंत पंचमी का त्योहार हिंदू धर्म में एक विशेष महत्व रखता है। इस दिन विद्या की देवी सरस्वती की पूजा की जाती है।यह पूजा पूर्वी भारत में बड़े उल्लास से की जाती है। इस दिन स्त्रियाँ पीले वस्त्र धारण कर पूजा-अर्चना करती हैं। पूरे साल को जिन छः मौसमों में बाँटा गया है, उनमें वसंत लोगों का मनचाहा मौसम है। सृष्टि के प्रारंभिक काल में भगवान विष्णु की आज्ञा से ब्रह्माजी ने मनुष्य योनि की रचना की, परंतु वह अपनी सर्जना से संतुष्ट नहीं थे, तब उन्होंने विष्णु जी से आज्ञा लेकर अपने कमंडल से जल को पृथ्वी पर छि़ड़क दिया, जिससे पृथ्वी पर कंपन होने लगा और एक अद्भुत शक्ति के रूप में चतुर्भुजी सुंदर स्त्री प्रकट हुई। जिनके एक हाथ में वीणा एवं दूसरा हाथ वर मुद्रा में था। वहीं अन्य दोनों हाथों में पुस्तक एवं माला थी। जब इस देवी ने वीणा का मधुर नाद किया तो संसार के समस्त जीव-जंतुओं को वाणी प्राप्त हो गई, तब ब्रह्माजी ने उस देवी को वाणी की देवी सरस्वती कहा। पर्व का महत्व : वसंत ऋतु में मानव तो क्या पशु-पक्षी तक उल्लास भरने लगते हैं। यूं तो माघ का पूरा मास ही उत्साह देने वाला होता है, पर वसंत पंचमी का पर्व हमारे ...

पौराणिक मान्यता के अनुसार श्रावण महीने को देवों के देव महादेव भगवान शंकर का महीना माना जाता है। इस संबंध में पौराणिक कथा है कि जब सनत कुमारों ने महादेव से उन्हें श्रावण महीना प्रिय होने का कारण पूछा तो महादेव भगवान शिव ने बताया कि जब देवी सती ने अपने पिता दक्ष के घर में योगशक्ति से शरीर त्याग किया था, उससे पहले देवी सती ने महादेव को हर जन्म में पति के रूप में पाने का प्रण किया था। अपने दूसरे जन्म में देवी सती ने पार्वती के नाम से हिमाचल और रानी मैना के घर में पुत्री के रूप में जन्म लिया। पार्वती ने युवावस्था के श्रावण महीने में निराहार रह कर कठोर व्रत किया और उन्हें प्रसन्न कर विवाह किया, जिसके बाद ही महादेव के लिए यह विशेष हो गया। श्रावण में शिवशंकर की पूजा :-  श्रावण के महीने में भगवान शंकर की विशेष रूप से पूजा की जाती है। इस दौरान पूजन की शुरुआत महादेव के अभिषेक के साथ की जाती है। अभिषेक में महादेव को जल, दूध, दही, घी, शक्कर, शहद, गंगाजल, गन्ना रस आदि से स्नान कराया जाता है। अभिषेक के बाद बेलपत्र, समीपत्र, दूब, कुशा, कमल, नीलकमल, ऑक मदार, जंवाफूल...

⚛️  मन को जीतना ही सबसे बड़ा तप है  ⚛️   -------------------------------------------- एक ऋषि यति-मुनि एक समय घूमते-घूमते नदी के तट पर चल रहे थे। मुनि को मौज आई। हम भी आज नाव पर बैठकर नदी की सैर करें और प्रभु की प्रकृति के दृश्यों को देखें। चढ़ बैठे नाव को देखने के विचार से । मुनिवर नीचे के खाने में गये, जहां नाविक का सामान और निवास होता है । जाते ही उनकी दृष्टि एक कुमारी कन्या पर पड़ी, जो नाविक की पुत्री थी। कुमारी इतनी रुपवती थी कि मुनिवर विवश हो गये, उन्हें मूर्च्छा सी आ गई।.देवी  ने उनके मुख में पानी डाला तो होश आया। कुमारी ने पूछा ―"मुनिवर ! क्या हो गया ?" मुनि बोला― "देवी ! मैं तुम्हारे सौन्दर्य पर इतना मोहित हो गया कि मैं अपनी सुध-बुध भूल गया अब मेरा मन तुम्हारे बिना नहीं रह सकता। मेरी जीवन मृत्यु तुम्हारे आधीन है।" कुमारी बोली ― "आपका कथन सत्य है, परन्तु मैं तो नीच जाति की मछानी हूं।" मुनि― "मुझमें यह सामर्थ्य है कि मेरे स्पर्श से तुम शुद्ध हो जाओगी।" कुमारी ― "पर अब तो दिन है।" मुनि― "मैं अभी रात कर दिखा ...

हमारे देश में  मकर संक्रांति  के पर्व का व‍िशेष महत्‍व है, जिसे हर साल जनवरी के महीने में धूमधाम से मनाया जाता है. इस द‍िन सूर्य उत्तरायण होता है यानी कि पृथ्‍वी का उत्तरी गोलार्द्ध सूर्य की ओर मुड़ जाता है. परंपराओं के मुताबिक इस द‍िन सूर्य मकर राश‍ि में प्रवेश करता है. देश के व‍िभिन्‍न राज्‍यों में इस पर्व को अलग-अलग नामों से जाना जाता है. हालांकि प्रत्‍येक राज्‍य में इसे मनाने का तरीका जुदा भले ही हो, लेकिन सब जगह सूर्य की उपासना जरूर की जाती है. लगभग 80 साल पहले उन द‍िनों के पंचांगों के अनुसार मकर संक्रांति 12 या 13 जनवरी को मनाई जाती थी, लेकिन अब व‍िषुवतों के अग्रगमन के चलते इसे 13 या 14 जनवरी को मनाया जाता है. साल 2018 में इसे 14 जनवरी को मनाया जाएगा.     क्‍या है मकर संक्रांति?  सूर्य के एक राशि से दूसरी राशि में जाने को ही संक्रांति कहते हैं. एक संक्रांति से दूसरी संक्रांति के बीच का समय ही सौर मास है. एक जगह से दूसरी जगह जाने अथवा एक-दूसरे का मिलना ही संक्रांति होती है. हालांकि कुल 12 सूर्य संक्रांति हैं, लेकिन इनमें से मेष, कर्क, तुला और मकर संक्र...
