About Adiyogi आदियोगी शिव प्रतिमा, शंकर की ११२ मीटर ऊँची प्रतिमा है जो कोयम्बटूर में वर्ष २०१७ में स्थापित की गयी थी। इसकी अभिकल्पना (डिजाइन) सद्गुरु जग्गी वासुदेव ने की है। सद्गुरु का विचार है कि यह प्रतिमा योग के प्रति लोगों में प्रेरणा जगाने के लिये हैं, इसीलिये इसका नाम 'आदियोगी' (=प्रथम योगी) है। शिव को योग का प्रवर्तक माना जाता है। Adiyogi Shiva was inaugurated on 24 February 2017 by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri – a Hindu festival celebrated annually in honour of Shiva. The Indian Ministry of Tourism has included the statue as a consecration destination in its official Incredible India campaign.The Adiyogi Statue has been recognized as the "Largest Bust Sculpture" by Guinness World Records. Why do havan (agnihotra or homa) in Hindu dharma वेदों में हवन को बहुत महत्वपूर्ण माना गया है। इसे अग्निहोत्र भी कहा जाता है। हमारे धर्म ग्रंथों में कहा गया है कि शुभ काम की शुरुआत हवन से करनी चाहिए।  16 संस्कारों  में से एक भी संस्कार हवन के बिना पूरा नहीं होता है। वेदों के मुताबिक अग्निहोत्र उतना ही जरूरी है, जितना जीने के लिए पानी। यही कारण था कि प्राचीनकाल में दो समय का अग्निहोत्र करना हर व्यक्ति के जीवन का अभिन्न अंग था। इसलिए बनाया गया हवन को हमारी संस्कृति- हमारे मुनि यह मानते थे कि आग में डाला हुआ कोई भी पदार्थ नष्ट नहीं होता है। हवन कुंड में डाला गया घी परमाणुओं में बदल जाता है। साथ ही, वह घी जो एक कटोरी में था, परमाणुओं के रूप में सारे घर में फैल जाता है। जिससे कई रोगों व दोषों का नाश होता है। अग्निहोत्र के विषय में जानने लायक एक बात यह भी है कि किसी चीज को आग में डालने से उसका दायरा, उसका क्षेत्र ही नहीं बढ़ता है, बल्कि उसके गुण भी बढ़ जाते हैं। हवन करने से होते हैं ये फायदे- हवन सामग्री में कस्तूरी, केसर, अगर, तगर, चंदन, जटामांसी, इलाय...
